Did you miss me?

Hey y’all!

I’m at Trackstar in the LES with Brad, Marco, Ravi, Eric from Upstairs, Yeti, Tamara, Dan, Patty, Grace UK, and some other folks having some cold beverages.

I wanted to do a fast update for the site, just in case anyone really reads this stuff…

1) Tomorrow is October 31st - aka Halloween - and Boneshakers will be closing at 5pm so our staff can go trick or treating.

2) Sunday is still Brunch Day at the Bone - but no more all-you-can-eat vegan pancakes. You can still get pancakes, but if you want 2nds, 3rds, etc. you will have to pay for ‘em. Sorry - but once the record amount eaten in a single sitting hit 23, we decided we should quit while we’re ahead.

3) November 4th is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of being open!!! Can you believe it? Who knew that Brad and I could have this crazy idea and then do it and then it WORKED. Totally wild.

4) Karen made an INCREDIBLE vegan cheesecake topped with fresh fruits. DANG! It does contain honey, so if you’re a super strict vegan, I guess you’ll have to wait till tomorrow, when she plans to have a 100% vegan cheesecake made.

5) Three Kings Tattoo shop on Manhattan Ave. in Greenpoint is doing $31 tattoos tomorrow for Halloween. I got a sneak peak and they’re GREAT. I’m totally getting one.

Okay… I think that’s all for now. Come visit me at Boneshakers. Maybe I’ll be baking something yummy and I’ll share some with you when they come out of the oven. We have to taste-test everything… it’s quality control.

Actually, I just love eating cookies.
